Keeping the War Memorial weed free is Volunteer Rean Blackburn. You may have noticed less flower beds planted up this year in the Park so MERCER HOUSE 1842 has a team of helpers keeping some of the weeds down and have also taken over a couple of the beds..look out for the bed celebrating MERCER PARK 100 YEARS near to Mercer House and we have our fingers crossed for a lovely Poppy display in the bed near to the War Memorial. During the hot sunny spells, watering these beds can be a problem....so if you are passing by with a full watering can, please give our beds a drink!!!...and if you want to be part of the team helping out in Mercer Park, call in at the Annex on Barnes Square and let us know!
