FUN IN THE SUN!!

What a fantastic sunny celebration day we had in Mercer Park last Sunday! We reckon there were hundreds...nay, even close to a thousand people came into Mercer Park for our 100 year celebration event. The parade to the park from Barnes Square saw Civic Dignitaries, Brass Band, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and the fabulous people of Clayton le Moors all join in.
The afternoon was filled with the sights and smells of the fairground and traditional stalls such as roll a penny, play your cards right (our very own Brucie was a star!) and refreshments and ice cream available....when there's a 20 minute queue for ice cream, you know there was a good turnout!!!

SO A BIG, BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED....IT WAS THE PARTY OF THE CENTURY!!!
